To join the association, we require that you run or operate a mobile food truck or wagon in NS, are 19 years or older and provide copies of all documents applicable, of the safe operation of your truck. Proof of.....$2M Liability INS, Copy of Green tags or report for GAS (propane) Yearly Fire inspections hoods, suppression and extinguishers reports, current Food Handling Certificate and yearly BIZ establishment Licence. You would be required to place Jack 92.9 FM Logos, we provide to you on 3 sides of your truck or trailer, both sides and rear (they are approx. 12"x1.5'). They are 3M and are easily removable should you not re-join, or we switch radio stations. Jack FM is our sponsor and we partner with them for our rallies. They provide us with free airtime in exchange and more!
We do expect you follow a code of conduct with mutual respect for our customers and membership. Our membership runs Jan 1 to Dec 31 each year and is not pro rated if you join middle of year, season is usually May to Oct anyways. Dues are $180 plus a new membership admin fee of $50. If you do not renew by Jan 1 - Feb 28th each year, you are subject to the admin fee again, if you renew on time dues remain $180. We offer and have negotiated several discounts on a wide variety of services and products through our association. We have a great new website www.nsfoodtrucks.com that promotes our members and allows you to upload pics and info on your own BIZ for all those looking to hire a truck. We have Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and most of us are on the Halifax Street food App which you can join for free. RANS the Restaurant Association of NS also extends health benefits and more to us as well. We continuously are working on providing more services and perks as we grow.

Must submit payment no later than Jan 1 to Feb 28 each year $180. Late submission of payment is subject to $50 late fee.
All applicable tags, ins, lic and inspections MUST be uploaded on our website no later than May 31 each year or it will show as disqualified and result in your removal of membership and all applicable access, perks, FTANS events etc. If renewing late and pay fee, you will be required to upload all of those required documents within 1 week to be reinstated and take advantage of such.
